How to receive large files from clients

Create a reusable receive link so clients can upload to your workspace without asking them to register or share their own cloud drive.

Working checklist0 / 5

Use this checklist here; the full reasoning stays below.

Write a better request

Specify acceptable formats, naming rules, whether folders should be included, and who to contact. A clear brief prevents a technically successful but unusable submission.

Separate clients when useful

Multiple custom receive links keep unrelated projects from sharing one generic intake URL and make it easier to disable access when an engagement ends.

Keep source responsibility clear

The uploader should retain their originals until you confirm receipt. Your receive link is an intake path, not a reason for either side to discard backups.

Edge cases

Before the handoff

Can the uploader see my other files?

The public intake page does not expose the owner’s private Manager or other submissions.

Can I reuse a link?

Yes, while it remains active; create separate links when separation matters.
