FAQ

Frequently asked questions about TransferSize

Short answers to common product questions. Follow the linked feature and guide pages for the full workflow and the assumptions behind each answer.

Ask from the handoff“Does my recipient need an account?”

No. A recipient can open a valid transfer link without registering.

Answer grounded in the actual recipient flow

Before sending sensitive material

Confirm the recipient, understand the content’s legal and contractual handling requirements, and use a separate secure system if those requirements exceed TransferSize’s documented controls.

Before deleting your source

Wait for the recipient to verify the completed delivery. TransferSize should not be the only copy of important work.
