Turn the direction around
A normal transfer starts with you selecting files. A receive link starts with an invitation: you create and name the destination, then another person opens the public page and supplies the files.
Build a clearer client request
Name the link for the job, explain what belongs in the submission, and send it through the project’s normal communication channel. The uploader sees a focused TransferSize page rather than your private Manager.
Manage ongoing intake
Signed-in users can create multiple custom receive links, review received work, and disable a link when a project ends. Public uploaders remain outside the account and cannot browse other submissions.
Before the handoff
Does my client need to register?
No. An active receive link supports public uploaders.
Is a receive link the same as sending a transfer?
No. It is an invitation for somebody else to upload into the link owner’s received-work area.
