Use familiar file tools

WebDAV exposes eligible workspace data through a standard client interface. It is useful for browsing and retrieving files from desktop software without turning the TransferSize workspace into a general writable drive.

Write methods stay blocked

The endpoint supports discovery, listing, reading, and metadata requests. Upload, rename, move, and delete operations return a forbidden response, which keeps the integration intentionally narrow.

Credentials are purpose-built

Generate an app password in Security, copy it when shown, and store it in the client’s secure credential store. TransferSize retains a SHA-256 digest rather than the displayed app password and rechecks the account’s paid and verified status.

Can I upload through WebDAV?

No. The current integration is read-only.

What if I lose an app password?

Create a replacement and revoke the old credential; the original value is shown only once.
