Why we built TransferSize
Email is fine for small attachments. TransferSize is for the files that don’t fit: a video export, a photo set, a design package, a client’s upload.
Why it exists
Sending a big file should be simple: choose the file, get a link, share it. That’s still the heart of TransferSize, and you can do it without an account.
When the job needs more, the rest is there. Receive files from clients with one link, keep files in My Files, add a password or an expiry, let people preview video in the browser, or charge for a download.
What matters to us
The recipient
They should know who sent a file, what it is and how to download it.
The sender
You should know the upload finished, and find the link again later.
Honest limits
We publish real limits and say what a feature can’t do.
Where we’re going
TransferSize works in any browser today. Apps for iPhone, Android, Apple TV, Android TV, Mac and Windows are on the way, so the same files follow you to every screen.
Publisher identity
TransferSize publishes this website and operates the TransferSize file-transfer service. TransferSize also writes its own product guides and comparisons, so those pages aren’t independent reviews. Product, advertising, privacy and legal questions can be sent to support@transfersize.com.
How we write about the product
We publish real limits and explain what a feature can and can’t do. Comparison pages use official sources and show when we checked them. If something is wrong, email support@transfersize.com. Our editorial policy.
