How to connect a paid TransferSize workspace with WebDAV

Generate a dedicated app password, configure a compatible client, and browse eligible workspace files through read-only WebDAV.

Working checklist0 / 5

Use this checklist here; the full reasoning stays below.

Read-only is intentional

TransferSize accepts OPTIONS, PROPFIND, GET, and HEAD for this integration. Client actions that try to upload, rename, move, or delete are rejected.

Use one credential per client

Separate app passwords make revocation safer. Revoke a credential when a device is lost, replaced, or no longer authorized.

Troubleshoot entitlement first

If access stops, confirm the account remains paid and verified, then confirm the server URL and credential. The service rechecks eligibility rather than treating an old app password as permanent access.

Edge cases

Before the handoff

Can Finder or Explorer write to the workspace?

No. A client may display write controls, but the current endpoint blocks write methods.

Where is the server URL?

Use the current value shown in Account Security; the published service endpoint is webdav.transfersize.com.

Put the guide to work
