How to send large video files without upload-time compression

Deliver the original video file through TransferSize instead of relying on a messaging service that may re-encode media.

Working checklist0 / 5

Use this checklist here; the full reasoning stays below.

Transfer is not transcoding

The selected file remains the source delivery. A browser preview or player may have different compatibility, but that does not redefine the original object.

Codec compatibility

A recipient may need professional software even when the upload completed perfectly. State the container and codec in the handoff.

Use Live Relay for a different job

Live Relay passes through an existing authorized HLS stream. It does not convert this uploaded video into HLS.

Edge cases

Before the handoff

Will TransferSize lower my video quality?

The upload delivers the selected original file; TransferSize does not use messaging-style upload compression on it.

Why will my browser not preview it?

The browser may not support the codec. Download and open the original in compatible software.

Put the guide to work

Open the sender and follow the same sequence.
