Know what happens next
A part is a small piece of the upload
Imagine delivering a book in parcels instead of one enormous box. If a parcel is interrupted, the uploader can retry that piece. The recipient still receives the original file: they do not need to join the pieces themselves. This helps with a brief network problem, but it does not make a disconnected computer upload.
Read the message before changing anything
A paused progress bar can mean a retry, a network wait, or final checks. Look for the text beside the progress controls. If progress resumes after reconnecting, let it continue. Starting several copies at once uses the same connection and makes it harder to know which one finished.
The open tab matters
Keep the page open, the device awake, and the source file available. Do not assume that a browser restart, a closed laptop, or deleting site data will preserve the upload session. Recovering an interrupted part is different from promising an upload can resume tomorrow after you close everything.
If the final check seems stuck
The last stage may be confirming what arrived before it creates a usable transfer. The progress bar alone is not proof of completion. Follow a visible retry instruction if the page offers one. If the page reports an unrecoverable session, note the message and prepare a new transfer rather than sharing an unfinished address.
Prepare a better second attempt
Use a steady network and power connection. Copy a file from an unreliable external or network drive onto the computer first if you have space. Pause other large uploads. Try a small ordinary file to see whether the basic connection works before committing to another long run.
What to send support
Record the time, browser, file size, stage of the upload, and the exact visible error. Include a transfer or support reference if the page provides one. Do not send your password, private file contents, or secret access links in a public help post.
