TransferSize Terms of Service
Your content and permissions
You retain rights you hold in uploaded and messaged content. You grant TransferSize the limited permission necessary to store, encrypt, process, transmit, preview when enabled, and deliver the content as you direct, and to review content that a participant intentionally submits in a safety report. You are responsible for having the rights and lawful basis to upload, message, share, sell, or relay it.
Acceptable use
Do not use TransferSize or private chat for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, threatening, harassing, spam, impersonation, malicious, privacy-invasive, sexually exploitative, or unauthorized content or activity; to distribute malware; to evade access controls or blocks; to interfere with the service; or to relay a stream you do not own or have explicit authority to republish.
Private chat
Chat is available to verified registered users. Respect message requests, blocks, and another person’s decision not to communicate. TransferSize may review participant-submitted evidence, restrict chat profiles, preserve relevant safety records, and cooperate with valid legal requests. Chat uses server-managed encryption and is not end-to-end encrypted.
Accounts, Business workspaces, and recipients
Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate information. Business owners and administrators may invite and manage members, view workspace audit events, and control pooled capacity; member libraries remain private unless explicitly shared. A public recipient or receive-link uploader may not need an account, but remains responsible for lawful use. Transfer links can be forwarded, so senders must choose appropriate passwords, expiries, limits, and recipients.
Plans and payments
TransferSize products show their price in a real currency. Checkout shows the final price, tax if it applies, supported payment methods, plan availability, renewal behavior, and purchase terms before you confirm. Paid-transfer and creator sellers are responsible for truthful offers, rights, refunds, taxes, and customer obligations that apply to them.
Availability and retention
Persistent My Files content is not subject to a fixed six- or twelve-month deletion timer while the account remains active and within its allowance. Public share links expire separately. Temporary transfers follow their configured content expiry, and deleted content follows the published recovery period for the active plan. Limits and availability are documented maximums, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. We may throttle, reject, suspend, expire, or remove content or access for security, legal, operational, capacity, nonpayment, or policy reasons. Keep independent backups of important files.
WebDAV, previews, and Live Relay
WebDAV is currently read-only and requires eligible account status. Previews depend on format and may differ from the original rendering environment. Live Relay is a separately priced paid-plan add-on for authorized HLS passthrough without V1 transcoding; you remain responsible for origin authorization, quality, availability, audience rights, and downstream use.
Intellectual property and notices
TransferSize branding, software, and site content are protected by applicable rights. Copyright notices should follow the DMCA page. We may remove material and restrict repeat or serious infringement.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every regulated or critical use. TransferSize is not responsible for lost source copies, recipient conduct, unauthorized content, upstream origins, or indirect and consequential loss where exclusion is permitted.
