Start with what you need

Sending & receiving

How large can a free file be?

One file can be up to 50 GB in a free temporary transfer. A free account also includes 15 GB in My Files.

Does the other person need an account?

No. Anyone with a valid transfer link can open it without signing up.

Can someone upload files to me?

Yes. Sign in, create a receive link, and send it to them. They can upload without opening your account.

Does TransferSize compress my files?

No. The other person downloads the original file you uploaded. A browser preview may look different because it is shown separately.

What if my upload stops?

TransferSize retries the failed part and keeps the parts that already finished while the upload session is still open.

Storage & access

How long can a free transfer last?

Up to seven days. You choose the expiry when you create the link.

Do files in My Files expire?

Paid My Files do not have a fixed six- or twelve-month timer. They stay while your account is active and has enough space. Public links expire separately.

Extra tools & support

Can I charge for a download?

If your account is eligible, you can set a price in US dollars. The file stays locked until payment is confirmed.

Can I upload through WebDAV?

No. WebDAV is read-only. It can list and download files on an eligible paid plan.

Does Live Relay change video quality?

No. It passes through an approved HTTPS HLS stream without transcoding it.
