A workspace the team can manage together

Give each person an account
A small studio might have an owner, a project manager, and designers handling different deliveries. Managed accounts let the business organize those members without passing around one password. Each person should sign in with their own credentials and use the access assigned to their role.
Internal teamwork and client delivery stay distinct
Adding a colleague to the company and sending a client a public transfer are different actions. A client usually needs the finished files or a receive link for an intake task. Decide what that person needs before offering broader workspace access.
Roles change the controls you see
Owners and administrators have company management responsibilities. A member may not see the same settings or actions. Review the membership and role before assuming that a missing control is a broken feature. Assign administration only to people who need to manage the business workspace.
| Concept | What it means |
|---|---|
| Individual account | Each person signs in with their own credentials. |
| Assigned role | Determines which controls a member can use. |
| Pooled storage | An allowance shared across workspace use. |
| Client delivery | A share link, separate from company membership. |
Questions people ask
Does everyone share one login?
No. Use individual managed accounts and the roles assigned to them. Sharing a password makes access and accountability harder to manage.
Where are the company settings?
Sign in and open the company area if your plan and role provide access. Available controls include membership and workspace administration.
Does a client need to become a team member to download?
A normal public delivery does not require company membership. Send the intended share link and any required access instructions.
Review company membership and capacity with the appropriate account and role.
